Hey guys,

whats the best way to start LCDinfo on bootup in XP? A shortcut to LCDINFO.EXE in the startup folder? or is there another better way. Currently the startup folder idea is not working all the time for me. Sometimes on bootup it works, sometimes it doesnt

Any suggestions would be great.

The 'RUN' key in your registry.

Startups can be added in this key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run

Add a key to start up LCDinfo. USE AT OWN RISK :?

I put that into the registry but its like the first thing that loads up on boot and the lcd doesn't work. I have to exit it and rerun lcdinfo. is there a way i can get it to load last?

You could try adding a delay before lcdinfo starts. Something like this was discussed here: http://www.skippari.net/phpBB2/viewtopi ... ight=#2990

The better solution would be a start up delay option in LCDInfo itself like there was in some older LCDInfo version. This will come later.
