Hi! I'm very new to this, so please don't blame me for this (maybe stupid) question. I need an external LCD to display iTunes' song information. It should have two rows at last; one to scroll the artist und title information, one to show playback and remaining track time, maybe a progress bar, too. Colors should be white on blue. I'd prefer an USB display, but if there's a serial/parallel one that would fit better, it's ok. Greetz Oggy |

Hello! Sorry, this post seems to be a little bit old... I guess some more information is needed for your application. On what system are you going to plug this LCD? On a PC? A Mac? Now another problem: what will you use to interface USB to the LCD? Then, do you know how to get title / time data from iTunes and send everything to a USB port? Many undefined issues. If you find a USB interfaced LCD, and supposing the driver is written, you will have "only" to develop the last part: get the info from iTunes and send it to the LCD. Pascal |

I know Oggy decided to get a USB interfaced Noritake graphics VFD. Should be a nice display for showing some iTunes info. |
