The only web experience I have is a little bit of asp? I can write a small database app for this but I think this should be done by someone who know how to do web dev

Hi, Why dont we implement a display tracker (almost like the bug tracker) for lcd types? We can save general information about each lcd in there? This will stop all the hunderds of messages in the forum: What type of lcd is the Dislplaytech 64240B? Rather have a "tracker" system where everybody can enter info about there lcd's!!! This will create a database that can be searched for info about a lcd!! eg. Manufacture: Displayteck Model: 64240B Controller: T6963C Datasheet: http://... Pinouts: http://... Resolution: 128x64 Type: Graphics Colour: None Then a list can be created based on manufacture, model, controller, etc. |

It would nice. Anyone willing to code it ? Or maybe there already is something that fits. It can of course be hosted with the rest of LCDInfo site but I just don't know when I'd have time to program this kind display database myself. Or now that I think of it maybe it could just be a separate forum section where strictly only posts with this format would be allowed. Any other suggestions ? |
