I have a usb lcd made according to this scheme: http://www.chip.pl/arts/archiwum/n/images/646481_0145e8d298.gif This lcd has a driver. It's located at this address http://www.ftdichip.com/Drivers/FT232-FT245Drivers.htm The VCP driver provides virtual serial port interface. It also provides a well documented communication interface. The documentation is located here http://www.ftdichip.com/Products/FT245BM.htm and here http://www.ftdichip.com/Documents/ProgramGuides/D2XXPG30.pdf Is there any posibility that LCDInfo will work with this lcd ? |

Yes it should be possible to make lcdinfo work with this by making a modified version of the HD44780 driver. I could do it some day but I'm not giving any promises of when exactly. So for anyone interested the source code for the HD44780 driver is available and waiting to be modified...
