I think you miss understood my question....

Can you actually connect to Qmail through the normal pop3 process, or is it the same as Hotmail, and only available through HTTP?

Had a quick look at the FAQ, it has POP support. Perhaps it requires an SSL connection.

I'm having problems.

I have updated to build 19 and tried to use the e-mail plugin but as soon as I put the e-mail_plugin.dll file in the same file as lcdinfo.exe and restart lcdinfo I get an error:

This application has failed to start because MSVCP71.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem.

As soon as I remove the e-mail_plugin.dll from the folder it works fine.

Help :!:

I can't find it :(

When ever I use google I find all sorts of junk related to what i'm looking for but never what i'm acctually looking for

Is it just that file I will need or more? I'm not very good at programming, the only reason I have any screens on my VFD is because Coorz sent me some examples and I played with them in notepad.

Weird, can't recall having to download that .dll to run that plugin.
Anyway if you google MSVCP71.dll that should give you enough links.

Just a small note on the email-plugin: your username and password are stored unencrypted in the registry, might be an issue for some people.

Can someone post the POP3 checker plugin? That link doesn't work anymore... Thanks!

e-mail_plugin.dll is using incompatible interface version. If you get this message you can check the LCDInfo forum for an updated version of the plugin or contact the plugin author about the problem.

That is what I get when I try to use the POP3 e-mail checker with the "bars build" of LCDInfo... any chance to get that fixed?
