Hi,

i love LCDinfo 0.6 it`s great ;) I want to use for a myHTPC project, so is there anybody how can develop an plugin to show the menu-structure form myHTPC on LCD ? In all probability you have to modify the code from myHTPC, so that it writes the menue-status in an txt or something ?!
I`am a bad programmer so for me it`s impossible but maybe there is somebody ...... ;)

I would love to help you.... But alas I am not a programmer either... however if there are any programmers out there who would be interested in running a programming LCDinfo plugins tutorial through the forum, then I'm sure you would have a few people interested enough to learn online, and maybe even come up with a few new plugins. :)

Here's one!! :)

You may not have to modify the myHTPC code, well not if you use Meedio (the new myHTPC). Meedio can send info to other programs quiet easily.

I'm also building an HTPC, it is running meedio at the moment. I'm using a few colour Nokia screens for displaying info.

No, not really.
I wrote a plugin for Meedio called C.Mee. It sends to LCD whatever it gets from Meedio or its plugins - this is quite a lot, but one of the most important things is not sent to my Plugins: The menus.
That means you need a TV for doing even the simples tasks with Meedio, and there's no real use of an LCD...
