Great job Relampago, thanks :D
Just go on ;)

Just one thing, as already mentionned : absence of zoom on the preview is a real lake, especially in 1280x1024 or more :(

Post subject:  Problem with animation

Hi,
I can't add animation frames in the new screen designer . In the Animation-Edit section of the screen deisgner the only option i can use is save animation which does nothing if i try to view on my display. Is there a reason i can't use them yet,. are they not enabled in this version?

Is there another way i can animate bmp's on my vfd. if so can somebody please send me an example file.

Hello there!

Very nice programm and very helpful Relampago!! Of course zoom will make it much more easier! I also have a suggestion.

The exported file is a little messed up and the commands(?) are not easily clear and if you want to edit the file manually you must search alot within the text for the correct text string. OK ctrl+F is a good solution but it would be much more pretty if it was nice and clear with tabs and blank lines between the commands :)

Like Neutek, I can't seem to add animations...

And I might be a bit of a newbie here... but I also can't work out how to add the plugin variables... Is there a brief manual, or help file to help me understand the designer better?

ok the pluginloading is hardcoded in this version... if you dont see your plugin (the plugin you want to use) int the right treeview there is now way to use this. If the plugin is there open up the treeview and simply drag&drop the variable...tata..

Relampago,

Don't suppose you feel like doing a bit more work on the designer? ;) Two things that would be great to see in the new and improved version...

Structured output of the screen file. So that it's easier to modify afterwards.

and...

Integration with the screens.xml, so that you can edit the screens file as well as the actual screens. Or even just a tick box on each screen that when ticked, makes sure the screen is either in, or gets added to the screens file.

It's beta, but it should work nonetheless to a certain extent. So make sure you have all the requirements to run it.
