Post subject: http support in $textfile$

i want to call a text file through the http protocol to display latest headlines and cs stats on my KS0108. I already have a webserver with php running wich generates the text files for me .... bu when i try

$textfile(http://127.0.0.1/headlines.php,1)$

it shows nothing

Is there other command for it or isn't it availible yet?

btw henri.... great work! so far you have the only LCD software that supports my KS0108 (else give me some URL to other who support it)

You're right - $textfile$ only works with local files currently. But reading files from net isn't very hard as it's already done for the RSS news so support for this can be expected.

I'm glad that you like LCDInfo. A much better version was supposed to be released few months ago but as always things didn't go as planned.

But I haven't stopped development on the new one so it's coming...
