Hi peeps !

I am in need of a DC/DC converter for my display, the Seiko G191C. Link to the datasheet can be found here :
http://home.mn.rr.com/chandrias/LCD/G191C_datasheet.pdf

Alternativly, but only if i fry the C version i will try my hands on this on, the G191D:

I read the stickys on the top of the forum but that doesnt really tell me that much as i have to amitt. I am more the kind of user who goes into the store and buys a procuct that gives me what i need instead of building one up from scratch.

In another thread i posted a while ago Coorz explained me the diference between an Inverter (for EL-Backlight) and Converter(for negative power) and gave me the hint to look at the german resellers conrad or alternativly reichelt.

I found 2 possible links but before odering would like to know if these are the correct ones.

1st, the reichelt product :
Ok lets see if the link works. Its this one :
http://www.reichelt.de/inhalt.html?SID= ... SHEETAUTO=

The Converter inquestion is the SIM5-0515D wich can provide a output of up to -15VDC

2nd the conrad product

http://www1.conrad.de/scripts/wgate/zco ... rumennavi=

This one only gives a negative current of 12V. So i am inclined to the 1st one. For the life of me i cannot find one at conrad that has a higher output then -12VDC based on an imput of 5 or 12V

If one of the 2 will work please let me know. Easter holidays are drawing closer and i will try to oder all the missing parts i need in one go to get going on the soldering on the free days.

Thanks in advance.

Best regards

tec

I checked the lcd datasheet and in one place it said -12.4v typical in 25 degrees temperature so I think the -15v module would be better to have some room for possible adjustment.
