hello!

I have 1 lcd BG24064A that doesn't work with the scheme that I have (for example, the SEL1, SEL2, CS and A0 does not consist in lcd pins; lcd has "no connection" and the scheme doesn't have "no connection" pin).

I found this scheme in this forum, I can use this scheme?!

Thanks

Sorry about my english (translated in google)

hello,

the scheme you used is rubbish. the display there is a sed-1330 display, but the pinout is a typical t6963c pinout - so these two don't fit together.

the other scheme is ok for you. btw. you are a lucky man because your display outputs the negative voltage on pin 9 needed for contrast adjustment (pin 4).
a variable resistor between pin 9 and pin 4 should be quite fine, you will not need one of those circuits found in the scheme for producing the negative voltage ..

greetings
/mrwastl

lcd doesn't work with this scheme=(!

I tested pin 9 and I do not get negative voltage =s! (I obtain +3V)

sometimes on lcd appears some pixels when I place 1 screen (only in this screen) with image but it doesn't have nothing to see (many errors)...

The datasheet says that the built in negative voltage is optional so maybe your display doesn't have it. Can you see if there are any components on the pcb that could be part of a dc/dc converter ?

I think that not but when it will be able I place a photo.

shouldn't the LCD work without the negative voltage?

I can use negative voltage (-12V) of a pc psu?!

thks

No without negative voltage you won't get any image.

Yes -12V from pc psu should work. But you need to use a potentiometer to have the negative voltage adjustable so that you can have the correct contrast level.

It's not necessary to place photo of the pcb!

LCD already works! :D :D I used the negative voltage of board (psu), with one potentiometer.

It only lacks illumination :x 8)
