Hi im new to lcd interfacing. I need to konow the protocol for communicating with a lph7677 display (from a nokia 3210).
By the way how do you connect wires to the display? On the one I salvaged fom my former phone, there are only 8 "bars" that are slightly less opague than the rest of the display. It dosent look like something that can be used as a base for soldering wires to the display, or am I i wrong.

Those bars are for a strip of conducting rubber. And no you can't solder to them. Sorry...

Try getting one from a 3310 off ebay. Mine cost just under £5 in "buy it now"
