I am about to purchase a ready made LCD from Henri which is driven by the SED1335 board.
The problem is that my motherboard DFI LANParty UT NF4 Ultra-D, does not have a parallel (LPT) or serial RS232 ports.
Does this board come in a USB version too?(i am a complete newbie)
If i purchase a Parallel & Serial PCI Multi-I/O Expansion Card, would the controller SED1335 and EL display work normally as if the parallel port was onboard?

Yes that'll work. Just a PCI LPT card will suffice, no need for serial.
