The lcd is driven by sed1335 and wired with instructions from planars site http://www.planar.com/Advantages/WhitePapers/docs/an12101.pdf

Yes indeed the contrast is very good, but screen is flickering quite a much when the display is refreshed.
The clock is generated to the screen with LCDinfo.

With redy made instuctions the interfacing was quite a easy.:)
But if we want to use this lcd it might be that we have to find better way to control it.

Yes better controller for the Planar displays would be nice. I'm trying to get my hands on some S1D13700 samples to test if it would be better.
