Hello all.
I just bought the Noritake Gu128x32 311 lcd and I have a problem with my ground pin. I know that if you short pin 2 to ground the VFD should go through a selftest.

The problem is that the display go trough selftest just by connecting pin 3 (ground) I donÂ´t have to short pin 2.

Please help me!!

Do you have anything connected to the data connector ? Just that as you have the selftest pin also in the data connector you aren't accidentally shorting it to ground there ?

No, just power and ground are connected.
Do you know wich pin in the data connector that is the selftest pin?

Looks like I remembered wrong. This display doesn't seem to have the self test pin in the data connector at all like some other Noritake displays.
