I have a solomon 4x40, LM1194SGL it has a 16 pin connector and it does not work with the standard hookup I have used for all of my other displays. in fact the controller chips got warm So i am sure the wiring i have is wrong, I'm hitting alot of dead ends, Can anyone help? It has 2 HD44780A00 controlers on it with a handfull of little chips that i believe are just for driving the lcd. The numbers on those chips are all the same:

NJU6407CF
JRC
P7009C

Can anyone help?

something else i noticed is that the chip configuration seems to look more like alot of serial LCD's I have seen, So maybe this is a serial lcd?

I can also post pictures if that would help
