Ok, so you have regular 8 bit display that you would like to use with only 4 data bits (like with HD44780 for example) ? I'm asking this as I'm not 100% sure what you meant.

Any datasheet of the display or do you know which controller it has ?

I have lcd 128x64 ks0108 chip based (not 128x128 ops!) I ask you if is possible to use it with only 4 data bits, or if exist graphic lcd with only 4 data bits.
I am using a microcontroller for my project but I would like to save 4 I/O
Thank

I'm not aware that it would be possible to use 4 bit mode with KS0108, at least I haven't seen anything about that in the datasheets.
