Hi,

I need help on T6963C based graphic display (optrex DMF5001).
I created a small prototype board for the power supply and use PIC micro processor to run the display. Afte, i initialise the display and i turn the power supply off and on again ( reset ) the display only display a line or 2 lines with a very birght display. When i re-initialise and run program and reset again., it seems to displear but the LCD doesnt display anything. Though, i output something to it. I can only see display on and i check the feedback read back from the data line, STATUS never get past the ready state or never get past 0x03.
I suspect that it's problem with hardware and i tried my code with other LCD and my software works with other LCD.
So, does any one know what could the problem be? does it mean that T6963C chip is dead? can i replace it? or can i send the LCD back to optrex?
Where can i buy T6963C chip (just the chip)?
