Post subject:  CXA-L0612A-VJL Inverter equivalent

Hi, my first post. I'm getting into LVDS display units, and know it's not a too easy task. Currently I own an Epia MII10000 board with the LVDS option. I bought myself through Ebay an 12.1" Torisan TM121XG-02L03 lcd and luckyly I have the corresponding PDF file. I know that I need an VIA LVDS-04 unit, and I figured the wiring from the controller to the Panel already. Now, the part where I'm lost is with the inverter.

The Torisan Panel pdf states the backlight requirements and uses a TDK CXA-L0612A-VJL inverter as a reference. Where could I find an inverter like this, or any equivalent?

Btw ... I know the dell inverter equivalent for it, the part number is 5C569, easyly and cheaply found in ebay.

The problem is that I can't get a pdf for this inverter (probably there isn't any) and the only thing I do know is that the inverter input has 4 pins, what voltage each pin should get is unknown. Is there a way I could figure this out, without a datasheet?

I think thiswould explain a lot.
BTW keep us posted on your progress with the Epia LVDS, i'm quite interested in (finally) seeing it working.

I will keep you guys informed. I saw many negativistic post about the lvds module not working, but I'm highly intrested and it can't be imposible.

There is a guy, nick named jefflhlee (and another one named GeorgeIoak) at Via Arenas Forums (http://forums.viaarena.com/messageview. ... word1=lvds) that made a lot of progress in the same Epia LVDS subject, so I guess it canbe done. I'm using almost the same screen as jeffhlee

I'm using my own topic as blog again.

I just ordered myself a free 8mD inverter from ERG, it seems that one should do the job.

No problem, we're here to help.
Indeed i've yet to see the Epia's LVDS put to use, perhaps it's only meant for system integrators and not the average user.
Keep us posted.
