Does anyone know about the lcd chip used in nokia 3530 lcd. Is Nokia 3510/3510i/3530 have the same lcd chip i.e. Epsons D15G14E . How do we determine that the chip used is from epson or philips. Please reply.

nokia 3530 and 3510i share the same system board and the same display (98x67, 256 or 4096 colours (only 96x65 are actually used by the cellphone)). the display has an on-glass Epson S1D15G14 Series controller (i don't know of any other controllers used ...) note: nokia 3510 (without 'i') have a monochrome display!! /mrwastl |
