Post subject: | Horizontally streched ks0108 display |
I have a ks0108 display which i have wired according to the schematics on this website, my problem being that when i use the ks0108 test program the display is streched horizontally, it appears to be inserting a blank line between every column. Initially it had a lot of static bits but i sorted that by putting noise limiting caps over the control lines. I have tried all the different Parrallel port settings in the bios but this makes no difference. Any one have any ideas or even seen the same problem before |

Sounds like the display is for some reason interpreting one additional enable pulse so it write two bytes instead of one. I believe this could also be something about the wiring. You could also try changing the delay setting in the driver configuration. |
