I'm attempting to run a DMF-50840 with an 8051 style micro controller. I looked into using the SED1330 but somebody told me they had extreme difficulty with this, particularly in the form of simple character fonts, most notably that they were all too small to be easily legible at a glance as is desired. (I'm mostly theoretical and planing at this point) Most of the display will be text, and progress bar style indicators. I've spent about 2 days searching the net now and all I seam to find relates to interfacing with an P.C.
Can anybody recommend a driver that provides more advanced text services or a free (or relatively cheep) library to provide this?
