Ok people, ive read through the forums to try and find what i need to hook up this lcd that i have.. and im completely lost. I found the old nokia 3210 in my boxes and searched to see if i can hook it up to a lpt port. and i belive you can correct? i have the LPT connectors froma previous un completed mod, and i have wires etc... What i want to know is.. on the circuit diagrams there are diodes and other stuf.. Must i put them on? or is it optional? Could somebody link me to a step by step? or write up a quick tutorial for me? not to loong as i dont wnt to waste yor time EG 1) remove lcd 2) strip 8 wires 3) connect to the 8 or 9 pins on the lcd 4) connect (X wire) to (Y pin) on the LPT port and add in if i need to use anything else. and will the back liht work?
