A different way to wire a nokia display.... crappy screen ive been playing with planning to make some nice ones soon i just randomly descided to use this conector... wires stay on.. my messy desk... i burnt it in all day and night its still going running on about 4.3 volts still on nokia board... plan to put back lights up and use keypad as serial remote... i didnt use anything on this but a 4700ohm resistor for fun on the V+ all other pins are strait though the original nokia board allready contains caps and so on... |

These days I made a pcb for these lcds. If you are good making pcbs you coyld try it. I will upload the whole project at my site. For now have a look at the finished result Inside the DB25 housing is the known zener circuit. |

nice.... i chose to keep the board because i want to make a hand held remote with display so im going to gut the batery and do a bit o modding and do a cord with serial remote using existing keypad buttons... then i can style my remote with cheep 2 dollar plastic cell phone covers... ahhh clever shuichi.... |

It will be nice... There is a simple scematic with 4 buttons to plug to serial that works with winamp, it's scematic is really simple for 4 buttons, or you can expand it up to 14 buttons! Happy mobile modding |
