I have a palm TRG pro which is an early highspec palm 3 with EL

ive got the LCD and i read the posts in here and searched the internet...

all i can find is a 16pin version which is EXACTLY the same apart from pins

mine goes something like this (guess)

1. EL
2. EL
3. GND
4. data
5. data
6. data
7. data
8. data
9. GND
10. drive voltage of sorts goes to contrast chip or something
11. data
12. data
13. data
14. data
15. drive voltage joint posibly logic voltage
16. drive voltage joint
17. data
18. data
19. data
20. data

would this mean its a 8 bit?!

all its got is samsung 00142E

google give nothing

anything anyone?
perhaps just hook it up going and have a prod with multi meter

Hello, I have a Palm III LCD with a display similar to yours. Did you find any other info about the display pinout? Any datasheet?
