I recently aquired a nice new DMF5001NY-LY Graphic LCD Display I know how to wire it up, but abit lost in terms of Voltages to use... this is from the Datasheet ![]() Which can be downloaded here http://www.optrex.com/SiteImages/PartLi ... 001ate.pdf So if someone can help me out, it would be great, Going to use it on a PC so i really need Voltages i can achive from my PSU Thanks |

You need to supply around -20V to the Vee & VAdj pins to get anything visible. There are several negative voltage generators already in this forum and this is what I used with my DMF5001NY-LY: ![]() Maxim MAX749 and few additional components. |

Ok thanks, that is exactly what i thought. I will see if i can find a MAX749 are my local electronic store... That circut seems nice and easy ![]() Do i have any other options? |
