Hey all,
First of all, your site rocks, and these forums are an invaluable resource to hardware folks. I may have a made a mistake and I'm looking for a little help now. I am buying a Planar EL640.400-CD4 display from ebay (I'm only bidder, we'll see if someone else pops in, but I'm guessing not, ending soon), and I'm now seeing that may be a mistake. I was really looking forward to a larger display (currently using a MO PK202-24-USB, 2x20 PLED) like Coorz display, but I'm seeing now that the 640x400s aren't supported. Is there any new advancements in support for them? Anyone know of a controller that'll work for it? Anyone know of anything I can do with it if I end up with it???

Here's the datasheet...

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Yeah you're in the same boat as http://forum.lcdinfo.com/viewtopic.php?t=1367

Actually i have a Planar 7768-MS 640x400, connected to the VESA feature connector, but it looks really bad. Dunno how yours are looking, try the testmode.
Easiest way to connect these is the VESA feature connector.

Thanks Coorz,
Someone actually came in and bid higher than me, and from your advice, I just decided to let it go. Someone else will have to deal with interfacing it. I'll wait around for one of those sweet 640x200 ones you have. Thanks for the help again!

Thanks!
Brian
