I have checked the connection of display and its ok but still i have no display on LCD.

On bios i have tried ECP+EPP, EPP 1.9. No success.

LPT PortIO driver also installed

When i start one of the LCD software i only get light flickering but notight to see on display.

Display is also connected to -12volt with 5k poti.

Have i forgotten something?

Triple check your wiring, with multimeter if possible.
Also realise nothing happens when you fire up LCDinfo; it only comes to life when you create/setup the .xml files

One thing to note also. -12V might not be enough.

My Optrex 160x128 T6963C needed -16V before it started to show any signs of life other than random lines when reset.

Thanks! You gave me an idea. I have connected the -12volt directly to lcd without potentiometer. Now i see a black display. I still have no graphics on it but its a small progress.

Why disturb the potentiometer the lcd? Its i cant regulate the contrast when its connected over poti. Without the lcd is too black and i cant see anything on it. No text or graphics

What else can i do now?

All black could mean it now gets too much negative voltage, but to be sure you'd have to properly display something on the screen and then adjust the voltage.

Wow. Now i get the picture. I have connected it again ove potentiometer and i have slowly screwed it till i get the picture. Its pretty fine tuning. Now it works.

Thank you!

Only contrast is not very well. How can i improve it? 10k instead of 5k?

The max resistance of the pot only controls how accurately you can adjust the contrast. LCDs typically don't have too good contrast compared to some more advanced technologies.
