Is it possible to connect those 640x480 Planar EL-displays to the SED-controller to get the display even partially working?

I could get few cheap panels but if they can't be used in any way...

Give Coorz or One~Zero a poke they will tell you for sure , but i am pretty sure the size limit is 640x240

Depending of the exact display model SED1335 might be possible to interface , at least using some interface logic. But I wouldn't go that way.

Do you know the model numbers ? Depending of the type I might be able to offer some solution for you.

hi

I have got the same problem! I have got an old laptop display without controller, I know the pin identifications, and a good IC (the datasheet of the segment drivers suggest it) MSM6255, but I dont know where can I buy ?, and a I dont know WHY is ADRESS INPUT pins (A0-A15) (expect A0 i Think this is the command / data pin) (there is no Enable pin, but there is WRite and Read pin)

thanks
