Hi
I have an ancient laptop PC (made circa 1994) which is heading for the bin. It has a reasonable (no stuck/non working pixels) VGA display which I would like to salvage and re-use.
The display module is a Sanyo LM-CA53-22NSZ. There are a few parts inventory sites that list it, but I can't find a datasheet. Does anyone have a datasheet, for this or a similar display module? - It has a 30 pin connector at one side for all the conncetions. The module has a lot of metal screening - I have dismantled as much as I dare and I can't see any LSI chips to help me work out how to use it.
Sanyo don't appear to make LCD panels any more - did they transfer this business to another vendor and if so, who so that I may try there for data.
The video subsytem in the PC uses a WDC WD90C24A2 controller chip - looking at the datasheet for this dosen't really help becasue it can be programmed to operate many different types of display panel.
Thanks
Peter
