I have found out that it has the S1D1330F (or SID1330F) IC on it I have a datasheet for the SED1330F are they the same ?? All I need now is the pin outs for the actual screen itself. |

If you have the SED1330F datasheet then with the use of a multimeter you can discover the pinouts, t'is pretty easy. You'll be looking for the following pins on the connector from the chip: d0 to d7, RES, RD, WR, CS and A0. Then Gnd/Vss(0v), Vdd (5v) and possibly -Vee (LCD drive, around -20v). Just this week I did exactly this for the Panasonic W1030 (480x128). If you don't mind can you post your findings for others for future reference? |

Hi Michael, I have check with multimeter and got pin outs I just like to have the datasheet to hand as well just so I can check voltages etc. I have followed the example they have in the sed1330 datasheet but nothing working so I just want to check I haven't done anything stupid. the example I followed is on page 123 onwards. and heres the link to the SED1330 http://www.coe.montana.edu/ee/rlarimer/ ... _Sheet.pdf |

Ok, a little more help needed. I have the display setup and displaying letters and numbers but it is repeating everything 4 times down the display. Is this a simple setup that has gone wrong I can supply code if you want. Has anyone come across this problem before ? Thanks Chris |
