Hello,
does anybody know where I can find the hardware specification for the LCD display found in the Nokia 6233 cellphone?
I am interested in interfacing it with a micro controller.

Best regards,
Dan.

Most old nokias interface by parallel interface or SPI.
Its known that most nokia Colour LCDs share the same commands and data interface.
here is the lcd pinout for your phone:

You can download teh schematic here: http://depositfiles.com/files/d8w3zpydb

The controller surely will be the MC2PA8201 or compatible.

Thank you for your quick reply.
Your information was very useful.
Do you know how much current do I have to expect to be drained from the 1.8v by the LCD's I/O pins?
My board provides 3.3v output levels. Like yourself, I am planning to use a 74LVCH245A for converting between these levels.

Best regards,
Dan.

P.S.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
