I am searching for al ultra low power LCD that will be powered from only one little coin cell battery and that should last for a year or more.
It's size should be below 35 x 38 mm (outer borders) and its thickness below 3mm.
The display should preferably be cog, since those do not use much current and are compact in size. (please let me know if I am wrong here, but that's what I have learned so far)
I have seen that you often use old nokia phone displays that are in that size. But these displays use (as far as I have seen) 0.2 mA and more current. (I hope i didn't miss anything
)
Do you have any suggestions? Any experiences with some very low power displays? Can you help me on this one?
Very nice community here by the way!
(its my first time here on the forum and I'm quite impressed by the different projects)
Besides: It should be available on the market also in low quantities. I dont want to search for old cellphones or something like it. And it should come with the controller as a module. (simple interface to the microcontroller would be a benefit) B/W ist prefered but colour is ok too.
