Hi! Does anybody know the pinouts and controller chip type used on the Motorola C236-C250 (maybe C350) colour LCD displays? (10 pin metal contacts used, so easily adaptable) I would highly appreciate if someone could give some information, or at least a site. Thx! |

Thanks to Berty's right guess, ( http://sandiding.tripod.com/Bertys.html ) the controller chip is SSD1770. I have mounted a small PCB on the back side of the display, and connected to the LPT port. I made an LCDHype driver for Motorola C236, C250, C350 LCD's. It can be found here: http://lcdhype.de/index.php?showtopic=4760&hl= Source code and hardware connections (schematics) also included. |
