hey! i have bought that display but iam not sure how to wire the right way. can i use the wiring shematik from this thread? : http://www.skippari.net/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=105 the 2nd problem: where the fu.. i can get those -21volts? please help me someone, i cant wait to have this display working br, rduke btw: here are some dataseets and stuff for that display! http://www.optrex.com/ProductList.asp?PartNumber=DMF%2D5001NY%2DLY%2DAIE and sorry for my poor english |

That schematic should work except that the display needs the external negative voltage like was explained in the thread. This should work for the -21v: http://zapour.student.utwente.nl/schijf ... c.php?t=19 |

first i have to say, thank you henri for the great support!!! respect! do u know if i can buy a power supply which gives me negative voltage? it doenst matter if its expensive. because my electronic skills are poor. i can wire the display but that power thing with -21volts is to complicated i think mmhhhhhh |

I'm sure you can buy power supplies for the negative voltage but at the moment I don't have any special one to recommend. Checking the websites of local electronics shops might reveal something. |
