Hi!

I have a problem with my LC Display! There is a small label on the backside which contents: EDT EW13B30GLY 03033*21

I've bought the display at Actron GmbH in munich... -> http://www.actron.de/sg.htm (here you'll find the type of display)

I want to connect the display with my LPT-Port by using this tutorial --> http://www.moddingtech.de/content.php?cat=modding&page=glcd, because my Display have also 20Pins.

Backlight switches on, when I start my PC. Now I've tried to send characters to the lcd but nothing happens. I've also installed the DLPortIO Drivers. Then I've tried to send the time to the display with PowerLCD and then fat lines will appear on the display.

Does anyone knows a software which I can use for my dislpay? Controller is HD61202 od.Comp.

Looking at the EDT EW13B30GLY datasheet it seems to have the same pinout as the Displaytech module used in the tutorial so this shouldn't be a problem and KS0108 and HD61202 are compatible.

Which programs have you tried with the display ? PowerLCD doesn't support this controller.
