Post subject:  Planar EL640.350-D4 displays, need advise / assistance
Found a few of these... Seems that the resolution is a bit of an odd size.

What would I need in order to get one of these to work via USB?

640 x 350 Display NEW for $150 each!


I ask because I am going to be replacing a 640*480 LPT driven Planar, and I could only drive HALF of the screen... Will it be the same thing with the 640x350 display, or will I be able to drive the entire screen?

Hope that I can use the entire display w/ a USB interface... if not I have also purchased a 320x240 Planar. Henri do you know of a way to make one of these work?

This display looks somewhat similar to the 640x400 model here: http://forum.lcdinfo.com/viewtopic.php?t=2579

It could be most likely made to work with that same USB controller board with suitable modifications to the controller timings. But for testing and making any necessary modifications I would need one of those displays.
