Hi everyone, I've one (very = 386) old, useless notebook with Hitachi LMG5042XUFC LCD display. I need to know pinout of this LCD or more. Could anyone tell me something about this LCD. I found nothing 
This is what is written on back side: HITACHI JAPAN 97-24634-1 LMG5042XUFC And there are this two types of (ugh I don't know the right word for integrated circuits) OKI M5299A-01 OKI M5298A Thank you very much for any information Bye Petr |

| From google.com , I have seen http://www.gandalf.user.xirium.com/tech/computer/platform/amiga/imigo/display/ which describes "I have been given a surplus LMG5042XUFC. The nearest product found on your web site was LMG5278XUFC".
And then google.com 's cache (cache from http://www.aaeon.com/r2w/service/download/hitachi/LMG5278XUFC.xls : The cache) recorded : Part NO: LCD AAEON CPU Board Pin NO Function Pin NO Function Hitachi LMG5278XUFC 1 FRAME 36 FLM Hitachi LMG9980ZWCC 2 LOAD 38 LP 3 CP 35 SHFCLK 4 DISP-OFF 5 +5V 5 VDD 6 +5V 6 VSS 3 GND 7 VEE - -22V 8 UD0 12 P3 9 UD1 11 P2 10 UD2 10 P1 11 UD3 9 P0 12 LD0 16 P7 13 LD1 15 P6 14 LD2 14 P5 15 LD3 13 P4 Molex 51021-1500 But I had seen the pins of LMG5042XUFC , it has 18 pins , or are some pins opened pins
