Can anyone direct me to the care & feeding manual for the DMF5001NY-LY LCD (LED backlight version). None of the documentation I can find describes the polarity and required voltage for the LED backlight. |

Datasheet says that typical backlight voltage is 4.1V and current is 650mA. Pin 21 is anode and pin 22 is cathode. http://www.apollodisplays.com/pdf_e/dmf/5001ATE.PDF |

I got problem with this same display. As the specs say the backlight is 4.1V 650mA but even with direct 5V feed the backlight doesn't even lit up. From 12V supply with proper highpower resistor it lits up but the resistor gets extremely hot. I got 3 of these panels and they all behave the same. |

Problems are usually solved with talking... Just half a day later and the backlight issue was fixed. Dunno what I did earlier not getting it to work with 5V. All fine now but LCDInfo doesn't seem to support the resolution of 160x128 very well: http://oms.wmhost.com/wsws/lcd2.jpg |

Have you tested the 0.4 versions available here: http://www.skippari.net/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=268 ? |

v0.4 seems to work OK, for the display part atleast. In the picture on my previous post there are few screens taken from v0.3.2 with settings found inside the programcode. The config-program didn't support that but entering it manually to the .ini did the trick. |
