Hi all,

I've just picked up a tlx-1013 which is driven by a T6963C, and has a native resolution of 160x128.
I've wired it to my PCs parallel port, and have the necessary power supplies. I've also loaded the DLportIO package so I talk to the printer port using VB6.
My question is: What do I need to send to this display to confirm its working. Is there a piece of software I could use??

Regards
Simon.

Hmm DLportIO doesn't seem to work with Win2000

So I'm really open to suggestions now...

To test the display you could use the programs linked here:

DLPortIO should work with w2k also as I've been using it. For installing it requires administrator privileges if I remember correctly.

Thanks for your reply Henri. I installed DLPORTIO as administrator and it worked fine this time.

However, the only application that displays anything (albeit somewhat garbled in top half of the screen, and complete garbage in the bottom half) is PowerLCD.

Could you give me a couple of lines of pseudo-code showing what I need to send to the parallel port to print "Hello World" or something??

Mucho apreciado!
Simon.

Hi Henri - thanks again - ignore my 'guest' request above - after getting my head around the datasheet (I'm very impatient :!: ) I've figured it out!!

All the best.
Simon.
