I recently stripped my wifes old Alcatel cell phone type HB100. There was a very nice character display with 12x4 5x8 characters. Now the connector is a 28-pin strip lead and i have no idea what the pins are. Does any one have a spec of this chip because it is to nice to throw away ??? /Pontus |

Thanks for your response, No luck there though. I believe that this is a custom glass so you wouldn't find it with any manfacturer. It actually doesn't even have a manufacturer stamp on it  And the controller is hidden under a blob of epoxy resin  Anyway, i have the controller board that it was connected to so i'll pull out my trusty logic analyser and do some detective work
