Hello there!

I have a problem with my LCD:

I wired it like described in 64128A_ver2.pdf from this page. This should be OK, also the solder connections are alright...
The parallel port is on ECP/EPP, like suggested...
I'm using the display with VCC=+5V...

When I turn the display on, sometimes there's nothing to see, sometimes there are black stripes and areas!? The ks0108-Test-Program and LCD-Info v0.3.2 doesn't work...

Can someone help me please?

I remember seeing black stripes with 64128A when the timing was bad. But this was with the first LCDInfo 0.3 versions with KS0108 support when I didn't yet have my own KS0108 display to test.

You should check that all your connections go where they should.

You could also try without the 10K pullup resistors. Personally I've never used those.

The ECP+EEP-mode doesn't work with my (same) LCD. Try to check out the normal mode on on parallel port.
