SO I have a wide big LCD and I dont know how to connect it to my LPT . my lcd have two switches and a wide active area in the back I have two chips one KS0108 & KS0107 it has 20 pins in this order 19 1 20 2 its was from a scanner I think and its writen beind nan ya plastics corp made in taiwan m111- can anyone help to connect it to a pc and give me a software fore it? its a grafic lcd? (12864a something like that was writen ) |

I have another LCD that I need help with its a little LCD and in the back there is writen EDM-CPI4010 and it has a little little little chip covered with white stuff it has a 9 pins how do I connect this to a LPT or COM |

The first one should be normal 128x64 pixel display with KS0108/KS0107 controllers. Displays like this have been discussed many times in this forum so you might want to have a look at older threads for some information. You would need to know the pinout of your display before making the wiring. If the display has the exact model number somewhere printed on it try using google to find the datasheet. For the second one I can't help. I tried putting "EDM-CPI4010" in google but didn't get any usable info. |
