I'm too lazy at the moment to do some searching so is the 7160 american version of 7110 ? If so I might have read somewhere that it would also use PCD8544 chip but I'm not sure. But didn't 7110 have bigger screen than other Nokia phones ? |

That looks like Nokia 7110 so I think they are the same. Here's one place where PCD8544 is mentioned as the controller: http://www.mcu.cz/modules/news/article. ... toryid=368 There's also some pinout for the display. I had my doubts about the PCD8544 being the controller so I did some more searching: http://sandiding.tripod.com/n7110.html There it's said that the controller is SED1565, I think this is more accurate. There you also have some example schematic and code to use the display. |
