Hi,

A friend of mine created a board that can drive a graphic lcd from the com port. He used a altera and created to 8bit ship registers. this board also has a build in inverted and produce the correct power levels to drive the t6963c lcd with a straight throu ribbon cable so there is no soldiring or any wiring problemes. As soon as he puts it on his website I will post the link
