Hello!

I´m searching for a schematic to connect the EW32F90FLW 320*240 display to lpt or com. Can anyone help me?

Thanx. Tim :?:

Do you have a link to datasheet ? Pinout and other basic information would be good also as I'm on very slow connection now and don't really care searching myself.

Datasheet - ~100KB

Pertinent info:

3.6v-5v LED backlight
Negative voltage of 10-22v required

This display is in fact controllerless, as indicated by the pinout:

1 - +5v logic
2 - GND
3 - Contrast, Negative votlage
4 - Frame
5 - NC
6 - Display Latch
7 - Display Shift
8-11 - D0-D4
12 - Display On/Off'
13 - LED+
14 - LED-

While Henri can apparently work miracles with LCDs, those miracles only work when they have controllers. Your unit doesn't, so unless you can find a pre-built LCD controller board (it doesn't say which ones work with the display, but something that big I'd guess would be in the SED series, not sure if the more common SED1335 can handle something that big), you really can't interface it with a computer.

edit: Ok, title indicates there's a SED1335 controller, but data sheet doesn't hint at it. Is there a SED1335 onboard or on another board connected to the LCD?

PS: on board is are only some logic IC-s 74HC8D; 74HC393D
and an op-amp LP324.

there is no other board connected to the LCD yet. Thats all about. I need a controller board to connect the LCD to PC.

From the other thread that I removed:

Here is the datasheet...

The SED 1335 can handle this display and im able to build the controller - board by myself. I´m just searching for a schematic.

Soldering SMD-s is'nt that difficult...

Have you already got the SED1335 chip ? If not I might be interested in getting one too as I've been planning to buy this chip but haven't yet bothered because of the shipping expenses for just one chip. I guess the price of SED1335 is about 10 EUR ?

I think my approach to this would be the datasheet of the chip as there is probably some kind reference design of a controller based on this.

It shouldn't be anything too complicated, SED1335, 32Kx8 SRAM, crystal, and some resistors and capasitors - that should be it basically.

There might have been links to some SED1335 circuits in this forum.

The Ic is now called S1D13305F00A000
not SED1335 this is a new revision.
