is it possible to connect an 3310 lcd to usb?

i found some lpt <-> usb converters. anyone tested this with an lcd? i also noticed the 3310 lcd uses serial data transmission. :roll:

maybe someone has an idea

I haven't yet heard of anyone getting the lpt<->usb adapters working with lcd's.

You can connect 3310 lcd to usb. There are many ways to do this but one possible way would be connecting the lcd to a FT245BM chip and using the bitbang capabilities of the chip to drive the pins.
Of course you need to make the hardware and software yourself as there isn't yet support for this kind things in current software.
