Hello, I'm interested in hooking up a graphical LCD to my computer. I could get a cheap 128x128 from Picvue (PVG 121202BYE) which has a T6963c controller on board. Are the wiring schematics for all the T6963-based LCDs identical or will I have to bother with individual difficulties depending on the manufacturer? Regards Lars |

There are some differences depending of the module. They may be found in the FS pin(s), contrast voltages, etc. But all that matters to the software is that the CD, CE, WR, RD and D0-D7 pins of the display are wired to the correct LPT port pins. There are some different versions of CD, CE, WR, RD pin configurations used but the current LCDInfo development version supports any wiring. Here's a schematic for your display: http://zapour.student.utwente.nl/schijf ... c.php?t=42 Is this the same module ? http://www.feegy.de/LCDFAQ/ |

Thanks for the reply, sounds feasible. So I'll risk to buy one. I've seen both of your links before, however neither refers to a specific model, but the display I'm heading towards looks like the one from feegy.de. Looking forward to get LCDInfo to run on my HTPC, one day! Lars |

Hmm, doesn't it say PVG121202BYE01 in this picture: Picture linked straight from LiQuiD-MP3 forum, hope Zotty won't mind. Good luck with your display! |

Oh, you're absolutely correct... In the message itself the display is referred to as the 'mysterious display', but now that it has a number it's not _that_ mysterious anymore... Lars |
