I got an LMG6401PLGE off EBay a while back. I found a this thread which had some sample code http://forum.lcdinfo.com/viewtopic.php? ... mg6401plge and this thread which has some wiring info http://forum.lcdinfo.com/viewtopic.php? ... mg6401plge. I'm just wondering if the two are compatible? That is, should the sample code from the first thread work with the LCD wired per the second thread? On a related note, I'm I correct to assume that the 61830 based LCDs such as the lmg6401plge are not supported by LCDInfo? |

HD61830 controller based displays should work just fine with the LCDInfo HD61830/LC7981 driver. Looks like that wiring and the source example aren't compatible. But it should be simple to change either one of them. The source code expects EN to be connected to LPT1 and RS to LPT17 and R/W and CS to be grounded. |
