Hi,
I got this nice VFD and I'm looking for pinout and how to make it alive. Unfortunatelly there's any tech. spec. about this model. I already found datasheets for GU256X64-332, 355, 372 but my power supply connector has different pinout:
1 - GND
2 - +another supply input ?
3 - +5V for logic
this is flipped against 332, 355, 372 and even pin 2 is evidently connected somewhere because there's PCB trace starting with T4A fuse but I don't know what voltage I should connect here. There's also small transformer on board so I gues it should have step-up for tube driver included.
When I put +5V to pin 3 it takes about 15mA and when applied to pin 2 it draws only some hundreds of uA. Does your VFDs draws more current when no control signals connected? Does it need to be turned on by some specific command? Any idea?

I also asked Noritake, but they told me, that this was customer specific display so they don't give the documentation.
