Post subject:  Connection and interfacing with 8052 Microcontroller

Hello,everyone recently i bought a lcd module from CCT(www.cct.com.my) the module number is CMG240320 it is 240x320 display format and the controller chip is SED1335 does anyone knows how to connect and interface this module with microcontroller mainly 8052?Thanks for all the guidance and advice given i really appreciate them :)

Well basically you can just connect the databus of the lcd to one port of your microcontroller. Then connect the control pins like RD, WR, CS, A0 and maybe reset if you want to other pins of your microcontroller. Then you can read from the SED1335 datasheet what kind data you need to put on the databus and which kind combinations of the control pins make the display read it and accept commands.

You can try searching this forum (and rest of internet) for some example code for SED1335.
